Here we have a collection of various commission pieces:
First up, the cover image was part of
Isabella & Steve’s Wedding Package. This illustration was used for their digital save-the-date, as well as their "unplugged” sign on their wedding day.
Next, we have an illustration of the beautiful mama-to-be, Ashlea, which was produced for her baby shower welcome sign and e-invitations.
Then we have the most romantic pose ever for
Deanna’s Hen Party Package. This photo was taken the day her now-husband proposed on a beach in Byron Bay and was used throughout the hen package.
I was commissioned to illustrate two photos of four grandchildren with their grandmothers. These two portraits will become part of a gorgeous Christmas gift for the both of them. This made my heart so full!
Following this, we have
Rachael’s Mardi Gras themed Hen Party package. Oh, how I love drag, so getting to combine the stunning Rachael with a gorgeous drag queen was just the best. For added fun, the bridesmaids were after her fiancé’s face to be used as a mask, and of course he had to be all dragged up! The mask will be placed on everyone’s plate at the venue so they can all have some fun.
I had the pleasure of creating a
Hen Party package for Jackie, with an overall event theme of all things pink! I had fun doodling some key repeating shapes (heart, lips, ring and bow) as well as creating a fine-line illustration of Jackie and her fiancé, Cam, from the day they got engaged.
I was commissioned to illustrate a photo of a newly married couple and their little boy from their Wedding day and his Baptism. I printed and framed this illustration as part of the commission, as it was to be given to the family as a gift for their sons Baptism. I illustrated this piece as both a line illustration and also a softly coloured illustration as the muted hues will suit a baby's nursery well. In the end, both the client and myself opted for the coloured illustration.
Lastly, my dad asked me to illustrate an old image of my grandfather from when he first moved to Australia from Italy, which he then got tattooed onto his leg. As we all know, it can be so difficult to illustrate hands, and the original photo wasn't the clearest, so I asked my dad to hand model and used his hands instead. I never had the pleasure of meeting my Nonno, as he passed away long before I was born, so it was truly an honour to work on this for my dad.
